Today it is official. I've sent in my application for my very first craft show.

I'm a bit excited!

I'm also a bit excited about Black Friday coming up in just a few days. I don't know if I've ever been this excited for Black Friday. Something has happened to me. I must have the Black Friday Fever or something.

So anyway. I've worked on some more jewelry today. And I am so excited about some pieces. I've only taken a 'group' picture of what I've done.

getting ready for the show

I have been some kind of busy these past two days. And I have had a blast.

I am closer to getting my stuff ready for the show.

My first craft show!
(I still have to send my application in.) (But I have to work on my inventory first.)

Our Etsy Shop

on the search for a new cutting machine

Many years ago I got a Cricut. It was the small one. I have loved it and I have used the fire out of it. Due to it being so old, it doesn't work as well as it use to though. I can't use it for big projects or anything - just little stuff that I can do really quick.

So now.. I'm looking for a new one. I'm also looking for a bigger one.

I initially thought I wanted another Cricut. Maybe the Cricut Expression. I started searching for a good deal on one and the price was always just a little higher than I wanted to pay for it.

So then I did what any other internet shopper does. I did my research! I found out that the Cricut isn't what I want to go with this time around.

Now I'm moving on to a Silhouette Cameo.

I'm so excited!!!

I am praying that the Silhouette website will have a black Friday deal on the Cameo. I am waiting to see!

In other news...
I have several projects that I am working on and I am going to be really busy starting tomorrow. I will be posted some photos of finished products also. So please come back and visit to see what new is for sale at J+K Creations.

 It is soooo cold here. It's only going to get colder. That being said, I won't get any new work done quickly.

 

But I've uploaded some of my photography that is for sale in my shop.

 

These photos can be framed. They are so beautiful! I love to photograph landscape and landmarks. When I see them printed out, the pictures just blows my mind. I love having photos that remind me of God's beauty.

I have to say that this is my absolutely most favorite shot. It is titled 'Beautiful America'.

Cup + Jewelry - {first}

Well... I've been busy today.

 

I've marked out wood for my hubby to cut. He doesn't trust me to cut it. (I'm nervous anyway - so it's all good.)

 

I'm working on stuff for my first show. Hopefully. I've got to get stuff made and submit my application. I really hope that I am accepted!

 

I made my first cups. One is mine. Below is the one for sale. I will sale it for $3.

 

Then I made my first jewelry pieces. They are being sold for $2 each.

It's nice to be here. It's nice to be doing what has been swimming around in my head and heart for a while now.

First off... Let me tell you who I am and what this blog is about.

I am the 'K' of J&K. At this time, that is all I am going to say about who I am. You may call me K.

This blog is going to be about my work - my crafts - my art - my passion and love.

I love to craft.
I love photography.

This blog is going to be about those 2 things. I will post what I am working on and what I am selling in my Etsy shop.
